The Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class III - 2", # C13701 that you link to, has a maximum gross trailer weight rating of 5,000 lbs. However, this is increased to a maximum GTW of 6,000 lbs. when used with weight distribution system. My first suggestion is that prior to changing out current hitch, identify with Newmar if the factory installed hitch has similar rating as this may meet your needs.
